Ok, so Mark started a meme that turned out to be a lot of fun, but a number of us were quick to qualify that the books that were most embarrassing were not books we purchased. Well, now’s the time for confession–what book that you’ve actually purchased with actual money are you most embarrassed to have bought?
Nothing personal against Mr. Jefferey, but I can’t take seriously these days any book that argues for the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin. I honestly don’t know if he still advocates such a position, but this particular book does, thus it is in the same closet with Lindsey and the others. I must say that I bought this book as a relatively young believer, so I really didn’t know any better. They say wisdom comes with age…
So, who will be a sport and fess up to that one title you bought and now wish you hadn’t?
