We all know those moments in a movie–that moment when the pendulum swings one way or the other, a stunning realization is made, or a character begin to piece together the events that have transpired to that point. Those moments are often memorable, and I wanted to post a few of my favorites, in no particular order.
- William Wallace’s pre-battle speech “in defiance of tyranny!” (from Braveheart).
- King Leonidas’ “This is Sparta!” (from 300)
- Andy Dufresne’s “Get busy living, or get busy dying” from The Shawshank Redemption.
- The unveiling of Maximus before the Emperor (from Gladiator).
There are so many more, but I didn’t want the post to be too long. So, what scenes are memorable to you?
