Just arrived

I had to run home and take care of a few things before heading back to the hospital and found I had a couple of books in the mailbox.

How to Argue Like Jesus: Learning Persuasion from History’s Greatest Communicator by Joe Carter and John Coleman. Thanks again Terry!

Biblical Theology: Intoducing the Conversation by Leo Perdue

Biblical theology has captured my attention of late, so I am particulaly interested in Perdue’s book. Review forthcoming.

  1. Bitsy: I don’t know if I will post anything on that one. I won the book, so I don’t feel the obligation to post a review! The subject of the book is not exactly my area, but I may post some thoughts on it once I finish a few more review books.

Nick: Will you be posting comments or a review? If so, I’ll be interested to know what you think.

  2. Jason: Definitely not a review. I rarely review books that I don’t have to. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some excerpts and thoughts about them though. I’m a little miffed that it isn’t here yet since it shipped the day after Bultmann’s NT Theology.

  3. I don’t blame you for not reviewing when necessary. I feel a little overwhelmed now with the ones I am reading. I’ll have to be more selective in the future!

  4. I review more for the fun of it in the summer because I have more time. I also may throw in one or two that I just learned tons from, but during the school year. pfftt – not gonna happen.

I’ll probably forget you even said you got that first one anyway 😀
